Mrs. Mark just took a COVID-19 test and it showed a positive result. Cold like symptoms. No fever, PulseOx is 97. It was 91 initially, but I made her take 2 or 3 deep breaths and it went up to 97.

Happy to have a large house with so many bathrooms. We can stay isolated but I do have to bring her her meds, food, water, etc.

I have most definitely been exposed.

Sigh. Hope it's a nothingburger for her (and you).

I saw an article that says estimates are that 60% of Great Britain has been infected. We're next, of course.

Be safe. But be prepared. Omicron is a very infectious critter.

Hopefully, everyone will have just very light or no symptoms.

Hope this all blows over without causing either of you any real toll on your health.

BTW, while the covid might get beat, secondary infections are an issue. After 2 weeks I was still stuffed up with sinus infection. My doc put me on doxicycline and a medrol pack for staph, which cleared me up.

Ugh. Sorry to hear. I trust it will be mild, but stay safe!

@George-K those numbers aren’t surprising. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are actually higher…

@mik I feel like crap now. Started yesterday. Ended up on the couch all day. Going for a test hopefully today.

Sarah is still not feeling well, but she has had no fever, good O2 stats etc.

So far, mild cases here. Hope it stays mild and just goes away in a day or two.

Everyone here is fully vaccinated and boosted.

The test is a foregone conclusion. Take it easy. Steroids may help, if your doctor agrees. Zinc, vitamin D and Pepcid can't hurt.

Sounds familiar. Jolly is correct that the test is a foregone conclusion. Sleep is your friend, so sleep all you can. Fluids and some Tylenol, vitamins, vitamin C, etc. will help, too. Probably not bourbon or scotch, though I wouldn't stop you if you really want a swig or two. 🙂

No alcohol here. I am all out and to be honest, I don't partake as often as I did in the past.

We're hanging in there. Both of us seem to have relatively mild cases. Hope it stays that way!

All of us here have full Moderna vax and boost.

Youngest made home made chicken noodle soup. it's awesome.

Youngest (21) had her test results come back negative and she feels fine. Taking care of her old mom and dad.

Neither one of us has lost our sense of smell or taste.
