Sautee'd Onions
-
Playing my airfryer tonight.
Planned to make burgers, about ¼ lb each and air-fried frozen fries.
As far as enhancements, some cheese for the burgers, a sliced tomato, (lightly) broiled buns, and some sautéed onions.
I took a pound of ground beef, threw in some salt, pepper, garlic powder and Worchestershire.
I wanted some sautéed onions, as I said, so I put some butter and canola oil into a skillet. Added about ½ onion, sliced. I put it in a non-stick skillet and cooked over low heat, turning the onions about every 15 minutes. They were covered.
And then...I forgot about them.
I forgot about them.
When it came time to get the fries out of the air fryer, the onions were cooked.
A lot.
