Experimental cuisine tonight. Seasoning up some good local ground beef with Cincinnati Chili seasoning packet and a little tomato paste. Will grill them up with some good cheddar cheese on top and see if it makes a good burger. Hopeful am I.

I bought some canned Skyline a while ago. Cooked some spaghetti and put the combo into a container in the freezer. Thawed nicely, and with some shredded cheddar, it was quite tasty.

Considering how easy it was, I don't see the need to ever try to duplicate it.

Nah. Almost impossible to beat the cans. Cook some pasta, throw on some cheese and onions and you are in heaven.

Just tasted the juices on the grill. May exceed my expectations.

Very good, but a classic burger is still better. Now I know.

Making the rest of the beef into normal Cincinnati chili. Oh well. It was worth a try.

@Mik you're making Skyline from scratch? How come?

I had the mix already open, the beef was already seasoned and just enough tomato paste to make it right. It was the best use of the leftover seasoned beef. We thought The Princess was coming for dinner so I seasoned it all.

It's very easy with the seasoning mix packets - you just throw the beef, the mix, the tomato paste and the water in and voila. Don't even brown the beef.
