Eliot Spitzer used alias at hospital hours after allegedly choking Russian prostitute

Former Gov. Eliot Spitzer used an alias at a Manhattan hospital while checking in on the escort he was accused of choking hours before in February 2016.

Spitzer, 62, also name-dropped then-Police Commissioner Bill Bratton to cops who were investigating the Plaza Hotel incident and claimed that blood found in the hotel room after Svetlana Travis-Zakharova slit her wrist was from her menstrual cycle, according to investigative documents that lawyers for The Post fought to have unsealed.

In the aftermath of the violent encounter, the then-25-year-old woman threatened she would “make it worse than 2008” for Spitzer, when he resigned as governor after it was revealed he was patronizing another prostitute, according to a lengthy text message exchange between the disgraced Democrat and the purported former $5,000-a-night hooker.

The newly unearthed documents revealed new details of the incident that led Travis-Zakharova to accuse Spitzer of assault, a charge she later recanted. Spitzer claimed she was attempting to extort him.

On the afternoon of Feb. 13, 2016, Spitzer met Travis-Zakharova “for a drink” in her $1,000-a-night Plaza Hotel suite, according to a March 15, 2016, preliminary investigation worksheet filed by Sgt. Michael Giuffre.

Slap some make-up on her and appropriate clothes, and I'm sure she could be attractive.

      But 5G's?

I was thinking something along those lines.

"Appropriately" attired, I could see her earning a reasonable living.

        But 5G's?

Yeah, that. Wow. Add the $1000 for the suite at the Ritz Carlton. That's one expensive nookie.

On a per occurrence basis you'd be better off to get married.

            In this case, yeah.

But the "Three F Rule" usually applies.

            better off to get married

With a good prenup. I wonder if that valuation includes an attorney.

@jolly isn't it funny how this story didn't see the light of day for four years?

"The lawyer accused the Bronx District Attorney's office, which handled the case, of protecting Spitzer and his interests by asking for and insisting on a lasting gag order in Manhattan Supreme Court."

He's asking for a free gag order that he usually pays for? The nerve!
