Usually when that happens to me its something that’s truly broken or otherwise unusable.

    Only non-witches get due process.

Amazon owns Chewy, but I've found Chewy is sometimes a hair cheaper. Gotta order $49 at Chewy to get free shipping, though.

Yeah, but I don't get 5% back on the Amazon credit card with Chewy.

I do, it's free money. Not in the credit line sense of course, but in the cash back.

I assume you use debit for online purchases? Ever have trouble with car rental? I’ve seen some that don’t take debit.

Not yet, but I haven't rented a car (other than with a corporate card) in a few years. But for some other things, I've had some pretty stiff holds put on it.

The problem with debit cards is if somebody ever hacks it, they take your actual money away rather just run up a fraudulent bill that is normally easily cancelled.

I used to use mine for online stuff, and then that happened.

                    I was only joking

I think it's laziness, mainly. I don't have to pay the bill.

If it was just me buying stuff, I'd just use a credit card. With two of us, somebody needs to stop somebody from spending more than we earn. No names.

I pay all of my credit cards off - every billing cycle. I've never paid any interest or late charges.

But, Mrs. George is, well, neglectful and doesn't really pay attention.

I do, so it works out.

Mrs. Phibes used to pay all the bills, but she had a nasty habit of waiting until the last possible minute, and we ended up paying last months bill with next month's paycheck, which used to give me ulcers.

My credit card is on autopay for the full amount. I never have to think about it. Yet I get AMZN points (as good as cash) and the protections described by D’Oh.

Yeah, MFR knows that if a credit card bill is not paid on time in full I go all Attila the Hun.

Haven’t known my debit card pin for years. Never use it.

I pay mine off in full just about every time I take a shit.

                                      Sorry, but it's true.

                                      Please love yourself.

My debit has been hacked a couple of times. No big deal, money is back in a day, two at most. I just swap to another in the mean time.

My credit card is on autopay for the full amount. I never have to think about it. Yet I get AMZN points (as good as cash) and the protections described by D’Oh.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
