I’m no Ann Coulter fan but if Trump doesn’t address the nation this evening it will be extremely awkward. I hope he has his narrative down because it may be the most important speech he will give this election season.
I don’t expect miracles from it, Obama wasn’t able to inflect much in Ferguson but still he needs to get on TV. If I were a democratic strategist I would put Obama and Clinton on to talk to the nation and even try to co-opt Bush.

This can be a referendum on Trump, or a referendum on riots. Depends really on how long they last and how bad they get.
