But he says what is in his head.
Wonderful.

It is so nice to not have a politician in the oval office.
Yes, he is occasionally impolite.
But he says what is in his head.
Wonderful.
For those with the TDS, find some comfort in the fact that we won't see another in our lifetimes.
I dunno why it's wonderful that he says what's in his head. I wouldn't show up to church in what I'm wearing to bed.
I don't want to wear slacks and dress shoes, but there's a social value to decorum.

You aren't the president.

Yeah - I'd argue it's more important for someone that represents other people to not saying whatever's in his head at the given moment.
-
Great - maybe we'll have someone who understands concepts like probable cause and the rule of law. That way he won't start goading law enforcement to investigate a private citizen because he has a personal hunch.
EDIT: I like my Presidents as boring as possible. The fewer news cycles a President consumes, the more oxygen there is to talk about other things.
-
If what he says is any indication of what's in his head, we're fucked.

He averaged a post every 7.5 minutes for 16 hours a couple of weeks back. One wonders whether future Presidents use Twitter as much. It is immediate - unrestricted access to the public. No President before him has used social media as much or as effectively at reaching the public.

In one discussion, somebody said they assumed he didn't actually write the Tweets. Personally, I can't imagine anybody else doing them.

I watched a bit of today's press conference.
Trump acted perfectly, as a politician.
He listened to a question, and then veered off into what he wanted to talk about. Very engaging, and he didn't answer the question.
It's not like this is some sort of high Art.
If you like how a politician behaves, he nailed it just like an experienced politician. But then he went back to being Trump. He said in part, we'll pull our 8,000 troops out, we're just acting like police and our military should not be acting like police. And if we need to go back in, we will go back in with a "rage." That was the word he used.

300 million people, and those two were the best of the best.
It’s worse this year. I would consider Hillary before I would Biden.

And Trump is four years older.

So Biden's the same age that Trump will be when people say there's no real choice but to bring him in for a third term.

It's funny because it's true.

Obama was good at that rule of law stuff.
Maybe Michelle will run for POTUS...

I'd be happy with a President who didn't act like a spoiled toddler, or, in the interests of not defending Joe Biden, could tell you his own name without having to first read his name badge.
