Mercedes probably won't sell a car like this for a few more years

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

It may contest the Tesla S series, but not the lower priced ones. And who knows where Tesla will be in terms of distance by the time this is commercially available.

I don't know whether it's a "Tesla killer" but the new Mercedes EQS, which can be bought today, looks pretty good in comparison to a Tesla S. Bigger range & nicer looking than a Tesla S. Also, more expensive.

              Why Tesla “killer”?
Why do you want to have Tesla “killed”?
I’d happy to have many Tesla “(worthy) competitors,” if only for the sake of free market competition.
As it is, Tesla still plays a role in pushing the industry forward; I would not want Tesla “killed.”
