As I've said, I disagree with her on just about everything. But, although wrong, she's principled and reasonable .

She's been beating this drum for months.
On this issue, she's right. But the media is a huge part of this problem. Yuuuge. Until we fix it, they'll keep making money keeping us at each other's throats. Thar's gold in them thar conflicts...

Out of curiosity, can you provide two or three policy positions she holds that you find disagreeable? Are there any you can agree with or, at least, give her a pass? How is it you find her to be principled and reasonable?
FWIW, I thought her to be the most credible of any of the candidates in the Democrat nomination race. Certainly far ahead of Kamila Harris and Elizabeth Warren. It was unfortunate that Gabbard’s campaign could not gain traction owing largely, I understand, to the open machinations of Hilary Clinton.

- No plan on how to pay for that, of course.
- Gabbard introduced the Off Fossil Fuels for a Better Future Act ("OFF Act")[58] as legislation seeking to transition the United States to clean renewable energy. The bill would require electric utilities to transition to 80% renewable energy resources by 2027 and 100% renewable by 2035, while setting similar vehicle emission standards goals and banning hydraulic fracturing.
- Unrealistic goal, though I can't say I disagree with the first part.
-
Gabbard supports a common rifle weapons ban,
-
Gabbard proposes addressing the housing crisis by bipartisan efforts to use zoning and public–private partnerships between local governments and private developers to quickly increase the amount and reduce the price of available housing.
- Presumably this means zoning low-income areas into various suburban enclaves. I wonder how the people of Kenliworth (look it up) would take to that.
- In 2013, Gabbard sponsored legislation to require GMO labeling
- I wonder how she feels about corn on the cob.
- Gabbard supports reproductive rights, including federal funding for abortion.
- I don't want to pay for anybody's abortion.

I find it hard to believe that anyone could be that shortsighted.

Violating my newly adopted intention to address no current events not having to do with football (because they're all boring):
She also said,"[This admin] has used race and identity politics to divide us, our freedom of speech and civil liberties are under assault, inflation is going through the roof, and we’ve got open borders."
Wow, how perspicacious can you get? Didn't no politician ever do that before!
I'd watch this girl. She might even be smarter than AOL!!!

It seems that she's trying to position herself as an alternative to what has become mainstream Democrat, retaining liberal policies such as increased gun control, abortion rights etc. without going down the rabbit-hole of identity politics.
Watching Biden talk, the whole thing feels like a charade, like he doesn't really believe any of what he's saying. I suspect there's a reason for that.

"believe in an idea" is a high bar for an octogenarian with below average cognitive faculties for his age. He is at best a moderately functional parrot.

I don't really buy into the dementia stuff, but I don't think he's coming up with many ideas of his own.
Hey, it could be worse. You could have BoJo.

loss of cognitive ability is inevitable at his age. Call it dementia or not, he is clearly some way down that path.

I kind of felt that way about the last guy, too. If you see Trump or Biden interviewed in the 1990's, they really sound like completely different people. I know, I know, and I admit that I'm biased against Trump, but I felt that both candidates were teetering a little.

Is there really any question that our last two presidents had reduced cognitive ability?
Mr. Biden is worse, but both are losing it, clearly.
