Business model
Brave uses its Basic Attention Token (BAT) to drive revenue.[27] Originally incorporated in Delaware as Hyperware Labs, Inc. in 2015, the company later changed its name to Brave Software, Inc. and registered in California, where it is headquartered.[28]
By August 2016, the company had received at least US$7 million in angel investments from venture capital firms, including Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, Propel Venture Partners, Pantera Capital, Foundation Capital, and the Digital Currency Group.[29]
In November 2019, Brave launched Brave Ads, an ad network. Brave Software takes 30% of the ad revenue and the rest is given back to the users.[30] As consumers browse, they are presented with advertisements.[31
Am I reading that right?
Klaus, have they paid you for looking at ads?

Not yet.
But I notice that our board has an "unverified creator" status. From what I can see, it would be pretty easy to get the "verified" status, and then we could all donate our BATs to TNCR
Maybe it's enough to pay for the server

This could be an even bigger money-spinner for me than Bitcoin and TNCR NFT's.

If you want to manage your wallet you have to sign up with one of two providers.
They require phone number, home address, social security number, passport and drivers license

So far I like the browser.
No ads makes weather.com much faster
I set a home page to appear on startup, but I can't find a Home button. Is there a Home button?
EDIT: Yes, there is
Look in Appearance under Settings

I haven't really understood yet how their ad thing works.
I haven't earned any BAT yet. Damn. I'm ready to watch an hour of ads just for some BAT!

iOS Rewards Update
In order to comply with recent stipulations made by Apple, Brave users on iPhones and iPads will no longer be able to earn rewards for their attention, and will no longer be able to tip their favorite online creators via Brave. These changes to our Brave Rewards system do not apply to our desktop and Android browsers.
Apple
I'm still not sure how to tell Brave that I want my BATs to go to TNCR
Now up to 0.070 BAT, $0.08 USD

How is it more privacy than, for example, Duck Duck Go?

What TNCR NFT’s are there? Aqua’s Sister? I suppose we could make some for GKSRs but those are mostly defunct these days…

Not applicable. Sessions with Aqua's sister are very much fungible.
