Biden: If you vote for Trump, you're not really black...
-
Turley commnets on how CNN is carrying water for Biden in this story:
CNN's John King just began a question on how "some are trying to make a big deal over" Biden's "you're not black" comment. CNN then played the clip ending with “I extended the Voting Rights Act 25 years. I have a record that is second to none." However, the quote was edited to exclude the next line: "The NAACP has endorsed me every time I’ve run. Come on, take a look at my record.” That is a false statement that the NAACP has publicly rebutted...
...thus, on such false statements, CNN is not making a "big deal about it." It is simply editing it out. Not a big deal. That is not one of the "facts first" stories. This is the type of media indulgence that I wrote about yesterday...
CNN just replayed the same edited clip in another interview, preceded by a derisive comment about those "trying to make hay about this." In a story where Biden is proclaiming his support among black voters, CNN omitted the line where he falsely claims multiple NAACP endorsements.

The outrage by the Right is typical in its hypocrisy. Over the last 2 days trump tweets:
post calling 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton a "skank."
Retweeted a post suggesting -- contrary to science -- that hydroxychloroquine is an effective treatment for coronavirus, adding these words: "Many physicians agree with you. Also, some very good studies!"
Retweeted a photo of former 2018 Georgia gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams that included these words: "She fought a tough race, kissed a lot of babies and visited every buffet restaurant in the State."
Retweeted two doctored photos of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi -- one with a Trump 2020 face mask on and one with duct tape over her mouth. The tweet said: "To protect PolyGrip during this pandemic, we have developed 2 options. With the DJT option, she will be able to tongue and adjust her dentures more easily. With duct tape, she won't be able to drink booze on the job as much."
Tweeted, with no evidence or proof, that mail-in ballots will produce "the greatest Rigged Election in history."
Retweeted an article about the death of an intern in then-Florida Rep. Joe Scarborough's office, adding: "So a young marathon runner just happened to faint in his office, hit her head on his desk, & die? I would think there is a lot more to this story than that?"
Tweeted this unfounded speculation about the 1990s death of the intern in Scarborough's office: "A blow to her head? Body found under his desk? Left Congress suddenly? Big topic of discussion in Florida...and, he's a Nut Job (with bad ratings). Keep digging, use forensic geniuses!"
Tweeted that former Attorney General Jeff Sessions should drop out of the Alabama Senate race -- accusing him of having "no courage, & ruined many lives."
That's all in the last 48 hours.
And now today he is threatening to move the convention out of North Carolina because the democrat governor will not guarantee to allow a full house of people into said convention. Where social distancing probably averages 1 foot, not 6. -

And what, pray tell, does any of this rant have to do with CNN carrying water for Biden, or saying that if you don't vote for him you're not black?

My reply was to the thread , not to any particular quote here. I thought I did it right. Did I mistakenly quote your post?

It would indicate that the next election is going to be half way towards a real battle of wits.
Incidentally, I started the thread, and I don't think anybody has ever accused me of being of 'the right', even though I normally am right.

Poor Sock.. this time last year he just KNEW that Trump was days away from being sent to prison. Here we are a year later, and not only has Trump been proven not guilty of anything, its looking like we're just weeks away from criminal charges being brought against a whole list of Obama people, maybe even Obama himself.
And here Sock comes again, a year later, reduced to having to whine about Trump tweets, and getting every single one of his complaints wrong. He obviously isn't getting any these days.....
-
- Trump didn't call the skank a skank Someone else called the skank a skank and Trump just retweeted it.
- Many doctors DO consider hydroxichloroquine to be effective. If you think the science is "settled" on the matter, your a moron.
- I assure you that Stacey Abrams most likely DID visit every buffet restaurant in Georgia. What of it?
- Someone SHOULD put duct tape over Pelosi's mouth. Not only does the sow have false teeth, she's a fucking drunk.
- Don't know about the dead intern. Maybe she was trying to get away from a guy like you.
- He's entitled to his opinion about Sessions.
- So what if he moves the convention.
You've had your head up your ass for years. And you have been wrong on every single thing you've ever said when it comes to politics.

Speaking of carrying water....
The Washington Post pushes me to the fainting couch:
(this is not the "opinion" section, by the way)
Again, the president wore no mask, a deliberate defiance of guidance from his own public health officials, as he seeks to portray a picture of a country returning to normal despite the ravages of the pandemic.
Strangely, they didn't comment on former POTUS Clinton, former SecState Clinton and Gov. Northam.

Do you actually think he did it by accident? LOL
I agree that President Trump gets unfair media coverage, but the "problem" is, is that he does alot of it to himself and causes it.

Opinion should not be mixed with hard news and peddled as such.
Unless WaPo desires to be Pravda on the Potomac.

Did it ever occur to those of you questioning it that just maybe he had to speak into a microphone and knew he was testing negative every other day and wasn't going to get closer than 6 feet away from anyone?
NH.. of course not. It has to be because he's an idiot.
Jesus.
