There were none around here (rural Virginia).

Why did they choose to leave Louisiana?
Why did they choose to relocate to Austin (instead of any other town/state)? -
The 25% subsidy for US built electric cars and components contained in the bill would have caused a trade war with Canada and Mexico. It was contrary to the USMCAN trade Treaty as well as the Auto Pact between Canada and the USA. It would as well likely run afoul of the WTO if a grievance were brought forward.
Manchin did the US a big favour by quashing the bill. It was a shit bill from square one.
