The new Bösie 230VC is out.

    Time to upgrade your piano?

I haven't seen this model in action yet, but I personally like the VC series significantly more than the non-VC models, although arguably they sound more "mainstream" and less "Bösendorfer"-y.

It's interesting that the only non-VC pianos they still sell are the 200 and the 290.

Maybe they want to discontinue the 200 in the future and just have the 185VC and the 214VC?

I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been tempted. When they get the 200 VC might be my time.

      Only non-witches get due process.

My guess is that they'll just discontinue the 200.

IIRC, they used to have a 180, then 200, and then 225cm.

Now they have 185, 215, and 235, which roughly corresponds to the A,B,C sizes of Steinway.

The jump from 185 to 215 is bigger than between Steinway A and B, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just drop the 200 size.
