    I just turned on the YouTube TV

    That is how we get local channels and cable stations.

    Up popped a message that there would be no Disney content including ESPN and no local ABC station.

    Because of this I will be refunded $15.

    No notice - it's just gone.

        Yeah. I saw something about that in the news or something, that YouTube was unable to come to terms with like 16 channels.

          The only major tv streaming alternative is Hulu - owned by Disney.

          Many streaming services are planning on raising prices this year (including Hulu I think).

          Google could have taken the cost increase and passed it onto customers - but this is an interestingly hard stance by them.

          I’m sure they’re going to lose many subscribers over this.

          I don’t subscribe to YouTube Tv, but I sort of admire the move.
