I'm pretty sure Trump has already toyed with the idea of his signature and image on dollar bills.

It's almost as bad as Pelosi and her big box of ink pens with her name on them that she handed out when she signed the papers that were intended to put a stamp on the democrat's waste of millions of taxpayer dollars and 3 years of time they could have spent actually doing their job. You know - another one of those things you Trump bashers never bother to talk about.

Does this impact the direct deposit too?

Unrelated question:
When is the US going to get rid of checks? The last time I used one must have been in the early 1990s. I don't quite understand why they are still in use.

Probably sometime between 2050 and never.

Me too Larry, he’s not my president either.

There you go. The best way to fight the Trump signature is go the direct deposit route. Heck of a lot faster too. Seems like win/win. But I’m a pragmatist, and not a social media influencer

Interesting this. I only learned that an actual deposit is impending because of this thread (I don't get any - curious when i would have clued in otherwise).
Curious how many other taxpayers don't know that. Given that context, makes sense that he wants his name on it.

I had no idea I was getting any. I initially thought it was my tax rebate when I saw my balance was higher than expected.

Next out? Letters explaining that you didn't get any, signed by Nancy Pelosi. It makes sense that he wants her name on it.

To be honest, I feel quite guilty getting the money as my company has been very good, and I've been able to work pretty much as normal. We do have relatives who own small businesses and are really struggling.

Give it to them. That is what I plan to do with ours - give it to folks I know who need it. .
