I used to be a black tea (assam) drinker for many years. Now it's just coffee. It's a matter of habit.

Tea and coffee fulfill different needs for me. I drink 1, occasionally 2 coffees a day, but I can happily live without it.

A couple of weeks ago we almost ran out of the strong tea that I like, and I had a mild anxiety attack when Amazon lost my order. Well, I describe it as mild - the rest of the family might call it something else.

      I was only joking

Something you and Long Islanders have in common, then.

You want that, Phibes? You honestly want that for yourself? Long Islanders?

            Please love yourself.

Well, I will say that those guys certainly know how to make an iced tea. Unlike the rest of you, they understand that a cold drink is no place for actual tea.

Just to be clear, are you telling me you'd go into a coffee place and ask for 'two coffee'?

                  ☹️

Coffee, unlike "douchebag," is not a countable noun. If I say I'm conversing with a douchebag, naturally your first guess would be that I'm conversing with Crashtest, but nonetheless you still know that people are quantitative, and the conversation is a dialogue, not a crowded room.

If I say I have three coffees, that could mean three weakass saucer cups, cups for normies, or three travel mugs for red-blooded 'murricans that are fast-tracking their way toward heart palpitations. "3 coffees" could mean anything between 18 and 100 ounces of coffee.

Coffee is a noncountable noun. It needs a quantifier. Cup of coffee, pot of coffee, enema of coffee.

                  Please love yourself.

Neither, I'm talking about American Americans, the only ones Trump says who matter.
