What a coincidence. We went to the Virginia Symphony today. D1’s sister in law was conducting the children’s group in the lobby. That is my granddaughter helping her.

The symphony conductor for today is a friend of the family. We hadn’t seen the symphony in over a year due to covid, it was nice to get back there.

Yes, it was nice. In his welcome talk the conductor said welcome to all the children. Then he called a special welcome by name to his children and also to our two grandchildren. It was wasted on a two year old and a 6 month old, they didn’t notice. But it was fun.
