Hoping it is better than season 1 and Discovery.

I am SO over Trek. I never watched Deep Space 9, Enterprise, or whatever the one with Kate Mulgrew was called. I thought I could get back into it, but after the huge disappointments of Discovery and Picard 1, I'm probably beyond experimentation.
But, this weekend....THE EXPANSE!

I am, however, looking forward to 1883.

I haven’t watched any Star Trek since Shatner and Nimoy. They just aren’t the same.

TNG was okay, for a 1980s show.

TNG was quite good. Voyager was OK in places. Some of the movies were worth watching. Discovery was pretty much doomed by awful writing.

I haven't mentioned The Expanse reappearance to the Mrs. though she is a big fan of it. I'm not sure if we start with the new season, pull back to part of last season or even start from the beginning and go all the way through.
As for the Treks, I thought the one with Mulgrew wasn't bad - probably better than next gen - but Discovery quickly went off the rails and Picard was a disappointment as well.
