The Chinese are not our friends.
Doesn't seem like anyone is our friend, these days.
You're naive if you think anybody ever was. People have friends. Nations have interests. Japan and America are "friends". In 1945, we introduced them to nuclear war.
But right now, the Chinese are actively working against the U.S. They are not our friends.

It sucks not having any friends. That's all.

Considering how ambiguous at best and basically nonsensical at worst it is to think that America "has no friends" geopolitically, I would have to assume that those who think that, do not in fact feel that it sucks. They enjoy thinking it. It really wouldn't be hard to find friends of America, if you wanted to find them.
