Driver plows through Waukesha, WI Christmas parade.

Don't you DARE call it what it really was:
And this is CNN's homepage about 5 minutes ago.
If you look closely, you might see a story about it.
It's there, at the bottom, below stories about Keanu Reeves, movies to watch, a WWE wrestler getting attacked, and Native American chefs.
It deals with the driver's lack of emotion.

VDH: A Tale of Two Cities: Kenosha vs. Waukesha
An amoral media and Left, so far, have kept an inconvenient Waukesha “car crash” out of the mainstream news—reversing their wild sensational obsessions with Kenosha. After all, in their unhinged racialized worldview, the demonization of a 17-year-old white male, who shot three other white males, still could be squeezed for racial juice, given the larger contextual landscape of a riot over a police wounding of an African-American male.
The shooting of Jacob Blake that set off the Kenosha riots was later determined to be justified, given the armed suspect was heading toward his car, after fighting with police, who were called to the residence to protect a woman who had a restraining order against the career violent felon.
In sum, Rittenhouse had no criminal record; all four of his assailants had lengthy arrest records. Three of them were ex-felons. He had no record of the racial hatred of which he was accused.
In contrast, Brooks was an abject violent racist whom the media sought to shield. And he was a career felon, who both long ago and quite recently should have been kept behind bars so that he would not murder innocents.
How a Wisconsin ex-felon received a $1,000 bail bond and freedom to mow down innocents, after trying to run down two with his car, while another juvenile without an arrest record, with good grounds to claim self-defense, was required to post a $2 million bond (and so stayed incarcerated pending charges without running water in his cell) is a commentary on the abject implosion of the American justice system.
Rittenhouse should have never been charged; Brooks should not have been out of jail. The effort to make the former a beneficiary of white supremacy and the latter a victim of it required a level of amoral media deceit that finally was unsustainable even in this bankrupt age.

Darrell Brooks Jr. had been assessed as a fairly high risk for release from jail two weeks before he allegedly drove through Waukesha's Christmas parade, killing six people and injuring dozens more.
Brooks' release on $1,000 bail has people outraged over the subsequent Nov. 21 tragedy, critiquing an often overlooked and misunderstood part of the criminal justice system — the pretrial risk assessment.
Brooks was arrested in Milwaukee County after police say he punched and ran over a former girlfriend on Nov. 2.
Before his initial appearance on Nov. 5, he was evaluated by JusticePoint, the agency that contracts with Milwaukee County to provide pretrial screening and monitoring services. It conducted a Pretrial Risk Assessment Report on Brooks on Nov. 5.
Such reports are also called Public Safety Assessments and commonly referred to as PSAs. Milwaukee County began implementing them a decade ago.
A tool for the assessment finds where a defendant's likelihood of failing to reappear in court, on the y axis, intersects with his likelihood of new criminal activityon the x axis.
Factors cited for his score included that he was charged with a violent crime while he was out on bail for a prior charge and that he had been convicted and incarcerated for earlier violent crimes.
In his favor was that he had no violations for failure to appear in other cases during the past two years.
The report also noted Brooks "is diagnosed with a serious and persistent illness in which he is not receiving treatment for."
Police reports from the Nov. 2 incident indicate Brooks suffers from mental health issues for which he is supposed to be taking medication. The exact diagnosis was redacted in the reports, obtained last week by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The PSA also flagged Brooks as a risk to commit a new violent crime. That factor is listed as either a yes or a no, and is not part of the other color scale matrix.
The grid goes from light green (low risk) in one corner, to red (higher risk) in the other corner.
Brooks landed in the red zone, yet his bail was set at $1,000, and he was ordered to have the highest level of supervision by JusticePoint if he made bail.
Technically, that followed the PSA recommendation — Level 5 supervision, and cash bail.

That’s better. But seriously, you’d be wise to do that anytime you see him quoted. Especially if it’s “breaking”.
I did, and I remembered your comment about him. I just thought it would be easier to link the tweet rather than linking the source, cutting and pasting.

Brooks’ case has now become a cause célèbre, not in the mainstream media, which was slammed for initially saying the deadly attack was caused by “a car” that drove into the parade, but by an increasing chorus of influential podcasters like Joe Rogan and online pundits who claim Brooks and his victims in Waukesha have been “swept under the carpet” by the press because it doesn’t fit their agenda.
The growing outcry may be why it was announced Saturday that First Lady Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will visit Waukesha on Wednesday. Though bordering ultra-Democrat Milwaukee County, Waukesha County is a Republican stronghold.
“We’ve got six people dead and teenagers so badly injured they will have to learn to walk again — at Christmas,” State Rep. Cindi Duchow, a Waukesha resident and Republican, told The Post.
Said Duchow: “Because this was a black guy who did it, the media doesn’t want to cover it. They were all over the Rittenhouse case because that kid was white. Race doesn’t matter to us here, but the media makes everything about race.”
“The left was so sympathetic to Kyle Rittenhouse’s victims but they’re not saying a word about the victims here,” Kapenga said. “It’s not fitting their narrative. The reality is that this person [Brooks] is pure evil and the left’s soft-on-crime policies are blowing up in their face. But they want to ignore it and hope it goes away. Meanwhile the parents of the eight-year-old boy killed at the parade are having to face their first Christmas without him.”
Millard said Brooks’ skin color and the politics of the case don’t matter to her and shouldn’t matter to anyone. She only wishes she could forget the nightmare she and so many others at the parade experienced.

Yeah, the coverage (or lack of) of this crime is really disgusting.

It's impossible to know the damage to the average American's psyche done by the relentless pushing of the race narrative by legacy corporate media, with that baton now handed to the moderation biases of social media. But I think it would be easy to underestimate. The ideas implanted into the brains of the masses create a huge amount of anger and unhappiness, out of nothing. And all, ultimately, in service of gathering votes for the Democrats, and social status for the indoctrinated masses.
