    Once again a good plot concept is killed by insipid script writing.

      @mik thanks for the warning update. I soured on it halfway through season 2 (as much as I loved Anson Mount). Just a waste of talent. Nothing compelling or interesting.

      Just re-hashed crap.

      The original Trek was better (and, frankly, it wasn't very good).

      The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

        I'm a bit tired of everything revolving around Michael Burnham's fuckups. She's the least interesting character in the show.

          @mik said in Discovery - Season 3:

          She's the least interesting character in the show.

          I think you just nailed it.

          The lead should be interesting. Teh Shat was certainly that. She's boring and pisses me off.

          I gave up after the 2nd season and watched a bit of the third - about 20 minutes of the 1st episode. Then I said, "Screw it."

          Too. Much. Butthurt. (at least after 2 seasons).

          Kill it. Even if it's still moving, kill it.

            Just started Mayor of Kingstown - very good so far but Paramount+ is releasing it one freaking episode at a time. I wouldn't have the channel if I didn't get a free year from T-Mobile.

            Ted Lasso is awesome.

            Finch is not worth bothering with. A vanity project during COVID. I liked the robot but totally implausible depiction of artificial intelligence.

              It's really a shame. They created a reasonably good premise then ruined it with horrible writing.
