      Yikes! Around these parts, especially during October when the moose are in rut, similar encounters with motor vehicles happen all too frequently, and sometimes tragically for the drivers and front seat passengers in cars. I have a had a couple of close calls with moose myself.

          A blonde Canadian attended a city council meeting to ask that the moose crossing signs be moved to places with less traffic, because it wasn't safe to have them cross the road in such congested areas of traffic.,,
