An orthopedic surgeon I know (but never worked with) listened to nothing else. He had a CD with his faves on it (late 1990s, btw).

None of the surgeons I worked with ever requested it. I know of a heart surgeon who always listened to heavy (death) metal during his cases. I suggested to one of my partners that ABBA might be a way to get him to work faster.

Me? When I was in charge of the music, I'd usually skip it.

"I still have faith in you" sounds like an appropriate title for an OR. Or at least more appropriate than "Mamma mia!".

Interesting what they are going to do with their "concerts". People do not want their memories to age, so maybe they are smart doing what they are doing.
