I wonder if that enlightened soul is still divorced from his family.

      Education is extremely important.

I'm afraid I stopped reading when I saw the first recommendation was "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu.

        I was only joking

The recommendations follow the same psychology that led him to starting a public book club to begin with. Because he wants to be a pop culture icon of wisdom and virtue. Meanwhile he is divorced from his family and hops from vacuous starlet to vacuous starlet in his personal life.

            Education is extremely important.

Now, see, Horace, that's not a bad thing. I mean after all, the guy can certainly afford hookers and blow. He's keepin' it surreal

OK, I went back and gave him another chance, and his second book was "You Are the Universe: Discovering Your Cosmic Self and Why It Matters".

Rodgers, who just finished reading it again during training camp, highlighted some of his favorite excerpts with a blue marker — something he often does with books he reads.

Eventually, he'll remember to return it to the library.

Besides, in my own defense, just because I posted about his book club doesn't mean I like his selections! Deepak Chopra gives me a rash!

Not defending Rodgers, either. He's a truculent sonofagun. Kinda got a kick out of his "I own you" eruption, but still. One doesn't do that.
