COVID-19 throws a monkey’s wrench into the field work of eradicating polio - healthcare workers cannot administer polio vaccines like they used to because of social distancing measures. Threatened funding cut for the WHO also does not help.

When are you going to wake up and stop getting your information from proven fake news media? Polio had already made a comeback long before the Chinese virus came along. It was brought here by those illegal aliens crossing the border that you leftwing nutjobs fought to stop any attempts sane people made to keep them out. It's the Left's fault, not the Chinese virus.

A cute yet pitiful display of xenophobic ignorance if there ever was one. You are clearly ignorant about what was presented in the opening post.

You lefties always trot out the "xenophobic" charge when someone exposes your crippled logic. So stuff it up your ass. The article is pure ignorance, the Washington Post is a worthless rag, and the fact remains that REAL news outlets have been reporting on the surge of polio for at least 3 years now.

So let me get this straight...
- Health workers in these countries cannot travel, due to COVID-19 mitigation rules put in place by their governments.
- Even when they can administer the vaccine, the parents won't let their children take it, because they believe the vaccine contains the Chinese Virus.
- The reason for the polio vaccine push, is because of "wild" polio, much of which is contracted by horrendous sanitation practices.
- The U.S. has not yet cut funding, but we are responsible for this.
- And the bottom line is that Trump hates brown people and there are no good reasons to cut funding to WHO, an agency which helped kill thousands of Americans, because the agency kowtowed to the Chinese.
Ok...

Judging by your second post, you’re still ignorant for the most part, but you got one thing right: as far as news reporting goes, the Washington Times is indeed worthless.

I think we both know that Larry mispoke. Neither he nor I read the Compost.

Ax, let's try using some facts:
- First, I meant the Washington Post and you know that.
- The return of polio has been reported on nu serous times during the last three years, brought back into this country be illegals crossing the border.
- You and the rest of the goofballs on the Left called anyone who said we should stop these people from coming into the country xenophobes. Just as you did to me in this thread.
- The polio problem has nothing to do with the Chinese virus. It has everything to do with the fact that idiots like you are more interested in your stupid Leftist ideology than you are in acting and thinking like adults.

I think the anti-vaxxers have a lot to do with the resurgence of polio.

This article is a Potemkin village argument for WHO funding. Probably just a trial balloon to see if can be an election issue.

According to Webster's...
- Definition of xenophobe
-
: one unduly fearful of what is foreign and especially of people of foreign origin
So....A Native American, married to a Filipina, is a xenophobe.

Just more lazy ad homs from a tribal lefty, firing the only rhetorical weapons available to them. Very sad to see someone reduced to that level.
