    @Mik since you asked...

    "Avicularia is a genus of arboreal tarantulas commonly known as "pinktoe tarantulas" due to their distinctive pinkish or orangish coloring on their toes. The size of an Avicularia spider can vary depending on the species and gender.

    The smallest species of Avicularia is Avicularia minatrix, which has a body length of around 2.5-3 cm (1-1.2 inches) and a leg span of up to 7.5 cm (3 inches). The largest species of Avicularia is Avicularia bicegoi, which can have a body length of up to 10 cm (4 inches) and a leg span of up to 20 cm (8 inches).

    Female Avicularia tarantulas are generally larger than males, and they can also live longer. Males are typically smaller and have a shorter lifespan as their primary purpose is to mate with females."

    The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

      True for humans, too!

              https://www.businessinsider.com/beached-fin-whale-explosion-ireland-shore-animal-autopsy-2023-7

              A decomposing 60-foot fin whale corpse stranded on the Irish coast had to be abandoned by wildlife researchers looking to study it after concern that the dead mammal could explode.

              Experts near the dead whale, whose body washed on the beach on Sunday, noted that they heard "bubbling" when trying to cut into the whale to perform an animal autopsy. This led them to believe there was a risk that a build-up of methane gas produced as it decomposed could create enough pressure to send the whale's innards flying,

                          https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/watch-crocodile-savagely-thrash-kill-154142353.html

                          The footage begins with the crocodile lunging and biting the body of the python—which looks like it is easily over 6 feet long. The crocodile shakes its snout back and forth, thrashing the snake. The snake tries in vain to bite the croc back, before attempting to wrap part of its body around the big reptile’s head. But the crocodile continues violently thrashing back and forth, and it quickly becomes clear that it has the upper hand in the bout. The video ends with the snake lying mostly limp in the crocodile’s jaws.

                          PS. (Video inside article)

                                I did a boat tour of the Everglades last spring as part of a works do, and they were telling us how destructive the pythons have been to the environment, they've pretty much wiped out almost all of the local wildlife. They're freaking everywhere.

                                I was only joking
