What year was that one?
I was wondering the same thing, but couldn't find it.
Also, I think this is only the pieces. It's an Ikea type of thing.
But, what struck me is the fact that the first floor, in addition to having a kitchen, pantry and dining room, it includes a "living room," "parlor," and "chamber library."
On the 2nd floor, note the "chamber" (ie bedroom) attached to a sewing room and balcony. But it's a hike to the only bath on the 2nd floor.
Mrs. George always loved the idea of a wrap-around porch too...
I wonder if it would be built on a slab or have a real basement.

Basement or piers, I assume.
Back in 1984, Mrs. George and I looked at this house (a real William LeBaron Jenny home). It was gorgeous, but the basement had a dirt floor.
We weren't interested.
I worked with the guy who owns that home. Never had the chance to ask..

True story...Down the road from me sits a po-boy house. Next to another po-boy house. That's what we used to call an owner-built home, done as cheaply as possible. But cheap doesn't always mean crappy.
Tony lived in a trailer house on a few acres of land. He, his brother, and his dad were all carpenters. Tony's neighbor Ron was newly married and wanted to build a home. Neither young man had much money. But Ron's family had a bit of timber...A deal was struck. Both guys would work together to fell the timber. Ron would pay for the sawing and Tony got half the lumber.
Next step, Tony helped Ron to build his home...One story, board -n-batten, ranch style with a full front porch. Then Tony built his, with Ron helping Tony's family to frame up. After that, friends and family worked on Tony's house. It was a story and a half, with lap siding and a corner porch. Tony's family had helped a lot of people, so a lot of skilled people donated their time. I helped the electrician pull all the wire. The plumber worked for free. The HVAC guy donated his time.
I don't know what Ron's house cost. Tony's cost less than $26,000. Just a little over 20 years ago.
