    Oh Hai!

    We've just been hanging out, relaxing. This is us in Oregon!

    These three guys like to go to the froggie bar. Here they are, bellied up to the bar again, waving to get the bartender's attention for some more cricket juice.

    We like it best when we're back at home in Minnesoooooota.
    Ahhhhhhh ... it's good to be home!

    Oh noes! Someone got a cut below the bottom lip. Poor froggo.
    Time for some antibiotics, Jacque. How about a little time in your Nautilus. You can explore the house. Mom will carry you around while you soak in the antibiotic water.
    Jacque Froggeau!

    Jacque healed quite well, but he still has a scar.
    He's pretty pleased to know chicks dig scars.

    Here's the ticket: pool noodles! Mom can fit them over the metal edges in our froggo house. No more cuts like Jacque had.
    Bonus: We like to lay on them all the time like froggo furniture. We are so hip!

    What!? Travelling to Omaha??
    What? Why?
    You really want to go to OMAHA???

    Okay, so we had to hang out in Omaha for a couple days.

    Home again, and we're staying put, gol darn it. You can't move us if we're all piled together. So there.

      @brenda wonderful pics.

      It's amazing how these little guys captured your heart. You're a great froggy-mama!

          Brenda, these are great. Froggos are all grown up!

          I think the first photo is worthy of a "Supply A Caption" thread.

            This guy?

            Yes, it's Jacque Froggeau! He healed quite well, but you can still see his scar in this pic. He's back to his antics, which means a lot of mischief. He is the ADHD wild man of the bunch, and is curious about everything.

            He had a love-hate attitude about his time in the Nautilus, where he soaked in liquid antibiotic medication diluted in water. We did this twice a day for a week, and in that short time, his cut healed significantly. To distract him from the fact that he was in a small plastic (ventilated) box getting his meds, I used one he could see through, and would put him in places with a view, or carry him to places he would like to see.

            It was so amusing when he got completely engrossed in the new scenery. He would stop thrashing around, put his front feet on the side wall, and stare out the side at the new view. It kept him content for short periods of time to soak his cut in the liquid meds, and to absorb more of the meds through his belly.

            All the other frogs have Jacque to thank for the new pool noodles in their house. I have a hunch Jacque caught his chin on the edge of a screw that holds part of their trellis together. Those are all covered by pool noodles now.

            The mailcarrier was quite curious about the pool noodles when she delivered them. They were in a clear plastic bag, so it was obvious what they were. I could see the puzzled look on her face, so I told her how I was planning to use them. You know you live in a small town when the carrier says, "Yeah, we had quite a discussion about that down at the post office this morning. Everyone was trying to figure out why you were getting pool noodles when you don't have a pool." You can bet she gave them the update on me using them for a froggo house, too. 😆

              These are great. You have turned a chance encounter into a calling.

              You could start a frog blog and monetize it.

                  I don't know that I would give my frogs a name from a culture that enjoys eating frog legs... It would be like naming my cow Ronald McDonald!

                      @lufins-dad
                      That's why it's important to keep the bugs in your yard as a line of defense. Once the frogs have filled their bellies with bugs, they will go find a place to sleep, and you are safe.

                      Also note that fat frogs can't hop as high or as fast. Keep them well fed. This is what my froggos have to say on the topic, and they should know. 🙂
