This kind of stuff could bring his administration down. And maybe his party in 2022.

Front page of the local paper today, the shipyard will terminate any employee or contractor not fully vaxed (2 shots) by Dec 8.

This is a big deal, the Newport News shipyard is the biggest employer around here. This is where they build aircraft carriers.

I believe this picture is the Enterprise being taken apart, I have been watching it get smaller for a few months now.

          So the mandate was announced.

          https://www.foxnews.com/politics/osha-covid-vaccine-mandate-labor-secretary-marty-walsh-interview

Labor Secretary Marty Walsh told Fox News Thursday that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration COVID-19 vaccine rule introduced Thursday will ensure "safe and healthy workplaces for millions of Americans."

Walsh argued that the mandate will help, not hurt, the economy, and that it is a legal action by the administration.

Employers with more than 100 employees must ensure that all their workers are either fully vaccinated by Jan. 4 or subject to weekly testing and mask wearing. Fully vaccinated means that the employee has received two doses of Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech's shots, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson's shot.

"The unmitigated spread of coronavirus in the workplace presents a grave danger of illness or death to unvaccinated workers," Walsh told Fox News. "This rule is well within OSHA’s authority under the OSH Act, and consistent with OSHA’s requirements to protect workers."

          "Grave danger."

But we can wait two months:

The Biden administration announced Thursday that its vaccine rules applying to private businesses with 100 or more employees, certain health care workers and federal contractors will take effect January 4.

The rules stipulate that employees that fall into those groups will need to have received the necessary shots to be fully vaccinated, either two doses of Pfizer or Moderna's vaccine or one dose of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine, by January 4.

It’s early November. The decline has leveled off the last two weeks. In two months we’ll sitting at the top of the next wave…What’s up with Lambda?

It can't compete with Delta. Delta plus and other variations will continue to be the most prevalent unless something crazy happens. Which is possible but less likely.

May not make much difference, as the big corporations have already begun to turn the wheel.
