Finished season 4 this afternoon.
Season 3 was, well, "trippy." It worked, but I was disappointed in the cliffhanger ending. Too many unresolved threads.
Season 4 took all those threads and wrapped them up. Though the resolutions were not explicit, the were really satisfying to finish the tale of Billy McBride.
I got the feeling that those threads at the end of season 3 were there so, if they decided to continue the series beyond season 4, there would be story fodder. However, with the decision to end Billy's story at 4 seasons, the resolutions were hinted at, in a satisfactory way.
But, I said "trippy...
Season 4 continues that trend. There's a lot of stuff in Billy's head and it's, well, weird.
Nevertheless, if you like legal dramas with
weirdquirky characters, you could to a lot worse than "Goliath." -

According to this article, the spinoff, "Bosch: Legacy", will start two years later and revolve around Bosch, Maddie and Honey Chandler, who isn't in that graphic at all.
Might buy and read the book it is based on. The author is still involved as a producer and writer.
