Had my piano voiced a month or two ago. My piano had great regulations (if not objectively great, at least it was at a spot where I liked it very much), so I did not ask for regulations to be done. But the technician claimed that he touched up on the regulations anyway. I know he meant well, but I wish he had not, for afterwards I noticed unwanted mechanical sounds from the action in some places. Not noticeable in louder passages and noticeable in soft passages.

Why would you bother having it regulated when you never tune it?
