Oh, how sweet.
This makes you think about how animals think in ways that would be familar to us. Every day, Felix shows up for his sausage at 22:40. How does he do this? He's noodling around, living his life, then he looks at his watch -- haha -- and he knows to go to his sausage spot at the railway station. Every day he does this. He has to experience some cat version of, 'Oh, it's time to go to meet the train.' He has to wend his way from wherever he is to the station.
Fascinating to think about.

George showers and then feeds. When I go to shower, Boris is sitting at the door, waiting for me.
At about 2:30 PM, Boris hops on the chair by my desk, knowing it's time for a brushing and a treat.
At 7:30 PM, Maggie knows that it's time for her nightly treat.
NPR had a video about how dogs tell time by using scent. I imagine cats are similar.
Regarding Felix, I'd not be surprised if he hears the train approaching much earlier than a human could, and...
