Through 2 episodes, really fun, funny and good.
The new generation of writers have taken hold.

Thus far, just about every episode has been written by old farts.

Well, no wonder it's good.

It's a mess.
Too many "one-of" guest stars:
- Nathan Lane (but more than one episode)
- Sting (yeah, Sting)
- Jane Lynch
A fun concept, but woefully drawn out, with each of the last 4 episodes saying, "Ah HAH! S/he did it!"
But no, we don't know.
Fortunately each episode is only 30 minutes or so, but, imo, it's a waste of Steve Martin's and Martin Short's talents.
Disappointed.

We just watched the Sting intro episode tonight. It seems so promising, so it's disappointing to hear it falls apart.

It's a mess. Finished it this week.
A good murder "mystery" must plant the seeds of solving the crime early on, and not rely on twists toward the end of the story. That's exactly what this did, and it was a disappointment.
Martin, Short (Martin Short?) are great. They play...themselves. The supporting cast is fine, but the story is sadly lacking inn anything original or inventive.
At least the episodes are short, so if you feel like wasting your live, 30 minutes at a time, go ahead.
