Don Everly, of the famed Everly Brothers, has died at 84.

A rep for the family confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Don died at his home in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday.

Don, and his late brother Phil, made up the harmonious Everly Brothers, known for songs like "All I Have to do is Dream," "Bye Bye Love" (their first single), "Cathy's Clown," "Wake Up Little Susie," and "When Will I Be Loved."

"Don lived by what he felt in his heart. Don expressed his appreciation for the ability to live his dreams ... with his soulmate and wife, Adela, and sharing the music that made him an Everly Brother," read a statement to the Times from the family.

Oh man... I have been listening to a LOT of their songs lately. I'm still toying with the idea of doing a 50's group, and have kind of been looking for somebody that I could match their harmonies with. I've really been enjoying their music lately...

            Forgot to add this:

            Who wrote this song?

I don't think I ever knew that, but I remember a CW guy made a big longlasting hit out of it. Ferlin Husky?

The Spongetones recorded a version for their 2000 Odd Fellows album.[8] Apple Jam also recorded three versions for their 2012 On the Wings of a Nightingale EP.

the composer’s own version still exists, strictly as a demonstration recording; it remains unreleased as of 2020.

                    It's a McCartney song.
