Latest scam? Got a text claiming to be the US Census Bureau requesting I take a COVID-19 survey. Riiiiight.

But I could see how some folks would fall for it.

I'm not answering any more questions until they reinstate my SS number.

      I was only joking

        I don’t even open texts from people I don’t know… emails either.

On the rare occasion that I am curious I send it to junk first where I am assured images aren’t loaded which cuts way down on odds that the sender can see that I open it because images aren’t loaded and then I can see clearly who the real sender is.

A pro tip is to not have images load for all email.

I never ever click on a link. If I am concerned I go right to the website and sign in to see if there is anything there relevant to the text or email.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
