Don't know if anybody here is a fan, but he was one of my favourite comedians. Dead at 58.

Some of the stuff he did on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown is brilliant. He reduced Jimmy Carr to tears on a number of occasions. There's currently a group of very funny British comedians who feature in a lot of different shows, and he was definitely one of the best of them.
