I don’t understand why when Trump brought operation warp speed, vaccines were great. Now that the administration has changed, vaccines imperil personal freedom.
Are there people who loved vaccines under Trump and now hate them? Or is that a caricature of "what Republicans think"?
MTG, some caricature of what Republicans think. Yeah she is not good for the brand.

Say what you want about the righteousness of the vaccinated because at the end of the day all our masking, and the incredible work of the hospital employees is in service of keeping the unvaccinated alive.
Still losing, though, because there aren't enough converts.

It would be strange to consider vaccinated people to be self righteous in general.

Rock Hudson was macho.
Look how that turned out.

Like hell we are. It may change, because of the actual swarm of positive COVID results and the endless admits, but we are better than we were when this thing started. There are people leaving the hospital today, that wouldn't have several months ago.

My understanding is that we don’t discuss that disease anymore.

I think the better statement is that they are working at cross purposes.

Sadly, Fox has helped the cause as well. While this woman overstates her position, she isn't completely wrong about Fox's misinformation on masks and vaccines.
The other day a the beginning of a segment explaining the horrors of forcing healthcare workers to vaccinate, Tucker explained that 75% of healthcare workers in New York City are not vaccinated. I was surprised at the statistic, and then the segment continued with a rather inarticulate nurse from Texas who resigned rather than being forced to vaccinate. Then just before cutting to commercial, Tucker noted that only 75% of New York City healthcare workers were vaccinated. I thought maybe I made a mistake in my listening - so I rewatched the broadcast. Nope, got it right. The whole segment was based on the 75% of healthcare workers being unvaccinated.

Alex Jones rebuked Trump for encouraging people to get vaccinated, saying Trump may be a dumbass.

I wonder to what extent the Trumpist subset of the antivaxx crowd will start becoming distrustful of other vaccines. That’s a segment that in years past would have sent their kids through the typical vaccination schedule without a second thought, with the exception of Gardasil perhaps.
But how much will the attitude about covid vaccines spill over?

Totally different subset. They were already antivaxers
