They'll sell anything. Sounds awful.
It's just TV doing what TV does - utilizing an IP.

No, this is exactly what pop culture ought to be. Substance-free TV shows and pop music and such. What I find gross is the progressives politics tumor, the size of a bowling ball, jutting off the side of pop culture's head.

Watched the first two.
Link to videoHigh production values, and the actress who plays Wednesday is great. Zeta-Jones makes a short appearance in the 1st episode, then no more. Gomez is horribly miscast. Lurch is on for about 5 minutes.
Picture a macabre version of a Hallmark Channel movie, and you'll get a sense of this show.
It just tries too hard to be cute and nostalgic, while maintaining a smirking sense of discomfort. The best thing about the show is the CGI rendition of Thing.
Haven't seen Fester.
I'll give it one more, but it's probably...Nope.
