A self-proclaimed antivaxxer has gone viral after she filmed herself licking items at a supermarket in an effort to prove that COVID-19 'isn't a big deal'.
Jodie Meschuk, who claims she cured autism, posted a since-deleted video to Instagram where she attempted to educate her followers about the spread of disease.
Meschuk was filmed licking several items in the grocery store including her shopping cart, produce bags and the door handle of a beer fridge.
'Germs fortify your immune system. Exposure to germs builds defenses against asthma and allergies. Microbes help digestion,' Meschuk captioned the footage.
She also told her followers to 'be free,' likely suggesting that coronavirus mandates restrict freedoms and to have 'love over fear, not law'.

George, she might have a different idea than you regarding the pandemic, but you've got to respect her decision. Not everyone feels the same way about this, and honestly her opinion is just as valid, and she isn't hurting anyone, so it's important to keep that in mind.

Jodie MI’m more grossed out by the idea that somebody probably touched that beer door after she licked it. Do you know where that tongue has been? The shopping cart was probably the cleanest thing it touched all day…

I’ll disagree here, the vaccines aren’t as effective against the Delta variant. Against Alpha and other variants? They have been incredible.

No, her words are literally that the vaccines do not reduce the spread of the virus. She didn't qualify that as "not as much as what was portrayed."

I’ll disagree. They always addressed that the numbers were against serious disease. They were upfront that there would be some breakthrough cases.
