So we remembered that Luke's laptop we bought him 5 year ago had high specs specifically so he could take it to college... i7 core, 16G RAM, 1T memory... So no need to buy a new laptop...

    Except...

Thanks to Loudoun County Public Schools, every student was given an effin Chromebook to use two years ago, whether they wanted them or not. In fact, if you had a better laptop, you were forbidden to use it... Equity and all that... So the laptop has sat unused for 2 years (he uses a desktop for gaming) and the battery is dead. Can we order a new battery from HP? No, that would be too simple... We have to buy it aftermarket...

So we're looking for an NP 03XL. Plenty of options out there, but there's one thing I'm noticing. The original was a 3 cell configuration and a lot of the replacement options are 4 cells... Will that make a difference in runtime between charges?

    The Brad
