First company I’ve heard do this.
I know of health and university settings that have similar mandates, but not companies.

I believe United was intending on having a vax card to fly? They can’t very well do that while having unvaccinated employees…
This does not work. This will not move the needle an inch in getting more people vaccinated and will make more hesitant people become diehard opponents.
Like I mentioned before, it almost makes me want to have them suck it back out of me.
Require regular tests, require masks for the time being, raise their insurance premiums like smokers… I am fine with all of that. Taking away their ability to earn a living? Now you are feeding into their Revelations end of the world number of the beast crap.

A coworker in a broadly attended zoom meeting recently volunteered that he hadn't been vaccinated. He appeared to be under the impression that it wasn't a big deal that he wasn't. A long silence in the meeting followed, and then an abrupt change of subject.

Add Microsoft, Walmart, google, Netflix, Disney and Tyson per the NYT. Each has a little variation. It is plausible that other companies are watching and waiting for more companies to join before announcing.
It will be interesting to see if the trend grows or stalls.

.You are correct. Here is a current view of how vaccine mandates are standing up in the courts.

....yet.
(and no, I'm not limiting my comment to immunizations, specifically)

Some enterprising young person will scoop up all those unvaxxed who are fired.
You could assemble a good team.

I am curious about how Disney can legally justify mandating all non-union employees be vaccinated, but union employees? Whatever you want…
