    Here's a tip. The great majority of what you describe as hilarious is, at best, faintly amusing -- and often not even that. When you use hilarious, what you really mean is 'sorta kinda amusing, maybe'.

    Stop misleading me into anticipating a good belly laugh and then letting me down with something totally lame-o.

                Please retire the phrase 'under the bus'. It has long since outworn its attractiveness. You should only use it if the story involves somebody or something being thrown under an actual bus.
