I like these super-smart people who break into the mainstream because they have a good sense of what's interesting or funny, and are good presenters. Randall Munroe, Mark Rober, this guy, the Khan Academy guy...
Gone are the days of poseurs like Bill Nye. Now we have legit people talking about this stuff. Even if they don't have the widespread recognition. They can at least make a good living at it.

Back when I was a lad, we had the Open University on BBC TV. The shows used to play very early on a Sunday morning. Try and control your excitement.
