Mrs. Phibes is lactose intolerant (at least that's the latest theory), and swears that almond milk is every bit as good as proper milk.

It's not. It's bloody horrible. Since she's stopped drinking the real stuff, I've been sorely tempted to go back to full fat milk from the 2% we get now.

    I was only joking

Almond milk works in certain circumstances. Certain kinds can work for cereal in a pinch, for example.

It absolutely does not for coffee.

      Please love yourself.

I agree, it doesn't drink well out of the glass. But I've been using it in smoothies and other things where it's combined with other ingredients for years, and it works fine.

If you think it's bad in coffee, you should try it in tea.

My daughter likes it. I tried it and found it wanting in pretty much every way. I suppose much of the argument is the environmental impact of dairy, but have they looked at how much water it takes to grow almond trees in the desert? A LOT.

If God had meant us to drink almond milk, he wouldn't have made it taste so awful

Good enough for baby almonds, good enough for me. A trillion baby almonds can't be wrong. Unless you think there's a huge conspiracy amongst all those baby almonds, all saying it tastes great and helps them grow, because they want to lie to the masses. Lol conspiracy theorists are so dumb. Baby almonds do NOT lie. EVER.
