Remember the good old days when Trump was crude and classless?

    Good times, good times!

The House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, on Wednesday heaped disdain on the Republican minority leader’s criticism of Congress’s new mask requirement – a reversal of policy that reflected growing number of cases and fears about the highly-transmissible Covid-19 Delta variant at the Capitol.

Biden praises infrastructure bill: ‘Deal signals to world our democracy can function’ – live

“He’s such a moron,” Pelosi said of the House minority leader Kevin McCarthy, after he tweeted that the mandatory mask policy was not based on science but a political decision by Democrats.

My point is not the validity of mask mandates, but the fact that the person 3rd in line of succession, just called the minority leader of the House of Representatives a "moron."

    Stay classy, Madame Speaker.

Edit to add: Had she said this on the floor of the House, would she be subject to censure for insulting another Congressman Congressperson? Would McCarthy be justified in beating her with a cane?

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I often wonder if democrats even care that she's crazy? I know they know it, even most democrats aren't THAT dumb. They just must not care.

She speaks her mind and calls it like it is. What's wrong with that?

        Please love yourself.

            Nope.

            Especially not in 2024. 😊

              https://news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/house-republicans-mask-mandate-dispute-denied-by-supreme-court

The US Supreme Court refused to consider if three Republican lawmakers, who violated a Covid-era mask mandate, can sue the House speaker and congressional officials for docking their pay.

The court on Tuesday said it won’t hear a claim by Republican Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Marjorie Taylor Green of Georgia, and Ralph Norman of South Carolina that the $500 fines violated the 27th Amendment, which says congressional salaries can’t be reduced by law until there’s an intervening election.
