Miniature Calendar is an incredible ongoing project by Japanese artist Tatsuya Tanaka, that features beautiful miniature dioramas of everyday life using common household objects such as food, cloth, stationery, electronic devices, and even masks.

Tanaka began creating these dioramas in 2011 with an objective to show everyday scenes in a fun, unique way and add a little enjoyment to everyday life. Since then, he has continued to update his content on a daily basis, showcasing scenes relevant to seasons and world events.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

As someone who has not a creative bone in his body, my respect is huge.

Check out the others. I loved the skyscrapers made out of staples.

When he made his first, say, 3 or 4, what do you think the response was from friends and family?

"Freaking weirdo. He has too much time on his hands."

Today, those same people are still sharing duckface photos to their couple hundred IG followers, and he has over 3 million.

            Please love yourself.

                Get a job.

I suspect that is what his relatives said. 😆

                Nonetheless those are pretty great.
