Burrow back to 100%. Lots of other moves in the offseason and the draft should make for an interesting season.

Poor guy. Eight months to heal a torn-up knee, training camp to Aug 8, then bung up against Tom Brady less than a week later.
Middle of August. In Florida.
(Sigh) Nature is metal.

Your empathy is remarkable and appreciated. But I think he won’t be doing much in preseason. Neither will Brady.

One of the many things I have yet to learn: Why even have a preseason? Increase ticket sales?

"Preseason" predates the commercialization of the game. Back when it was more of a club sport, clubs would practice a bit before the season started, then it occurred to them that maybe they should play a couple of nearby teams 'off the record' as a practice before the real season began. The NFL merely monetized what had already evolved.

For the last 30 years preseason has been meant to help get the starters a little bit of practice to get some cohesion as a group, but the primary purpose was to help the teams find depth guys. There are thousands of guys that are incredible in practice, but in real time game situations just don’t process quickly enough. At the same time, there are some guys that are average in practice, but in game situations access a whole new level that they just can’t find in practice.
