The air belongs to the government.

Just be happy they don't tax it.

Some idiot bureaucrat's idea. It won't stand.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

          Law is codified morality.

          Now, ponder those morals...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Is this about something more than Rugby and a way of keeping the games going? I feel like I missing something.

It looks as though it's a reaction to a breach of Covid protocol

              https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/news-2021-queensland-covid19-bubbles-dr-jeanette-young-penrith-panthers-apisai-koroisau/e485ced5-abfe-4b39-af6e-7a730438d3be

So I guess what happens is people are breaking the restrictions, passing stuff between bubbles, and somebody invites a girl into his room, so then the authorities clamp down on the use of the the hotel balconies.

              I was only joking

If it prevents a single person from getting COVID, it's worth it.

                Education is extremely important.

                  Thousands protest lockdown in Sydney

“We live in a democracy and normally I am certainly one who supports people’s rights to protest ... but at the present time we’ve got cases going through the roof and we have people thinking that’s OK to get out there and possibly be close to each other at a demonstration,” said state Health Minister Brad Hazzard.

Here's their cases "through the roof."

                  Five per million. Five.

                  Here's the deaths.

But...as far as vaccinations go, Oz isn't doing all that well. Similar to India.

If the Delta variant is the big deal there (and it probably is), they're potentially rough times with such a low percentage vaccinated.

It takes a lot of virtue to shut things down at that point.

It’s the future folks are worried about. One respected predictive analytics firm is represented here:

                      Let’s revisit in October.
