Local schoolboards are a hotbed of politics, second only to the sheriff's office.

I had a few summer jobs while in high school that were a result of school department connections.
Many school department employees had at least some academic credentials.
But the Department of Public Works had no such restrictions. The DPW was pure politics at it's finest.

As everybody knows, math education around here is freaking great. I hope the CRT isn't as effective.
