Thinking about a pup....

And the dog matches Luna!
How's she doing, by the way?
-
She's doing fine. Now that my daughter's cat has gone home she has the run of the house. She has found lots of wonderful spots to watch the windows, AKA Cat TV. But she's still a bit skittish about people. She wants to be affectionate but still a bit shy. We're just letting her come around in her time. She still spends a lot of time under our bed. Also LOVES the red dot pointer. She has found her cat hammock/scratching post and loves it.

I'd like to have a dog as well as a cat. Here's the leading candidate. He'll probably be 50-60 lbs. A little bigger than I'd really like, but not unworkable. We have a big fenced yard. The guess is a lab/hound mix but who knows.
No more shelties?

-
Mik, that puppy is sweet looking. Have you met it yet?
-
Yeah, but not in a home situation. I’d love to have another Sheltie but they are not great with cats.
-
Adorable, Mik! You'll have a happy house.
-
Mik, that dog has the looks of a food ninja. Be very careful.
-
Training will take care of that, which I would do extensively. My dogs have always known their place in the pack.

-
So sweet! Kitty prezzie for you.
-
She loves us.
She also LOVES the red dot pointer. I can sit in my chair and wear her plumb out.
-
It really is a sign of affection. Lucky you!

She gifted us with this this morning on the stairway.
You get a pretty good idea of the last thing mousie saw on this earth, too.
"Oh, shi-i-i--!"

Cute cat. I miss having a cat.
-
Lots of kitty cats could use a good home...

You should get a kitty, Larry. You would enjoy it so much.

Hey! This thread is about a pup and everyone is going on and on about cats! Cats are wonderful, but let’s show some love to the canines in the family!
